Accommodation and Charges

Participants have a choice of the following accommodation options (use links to find details below):
Gleann Cholm Cille options— arranged by Oideas Gael or arranged by you
Gleann Fhinne— lodging will be arranged by Oideas Gael
Please read the notes below; there have been a few changes in Lóistín & Costas arrangements this year

Please Note: You will pay accommodation fees DIRECTLY to your selected accommodation provider during your stay. Accommodation fees should NOT be sent to Oideas Gael with your booking. Furthermore, the ONLY accomodation accepting credit card payment is Oideas Gael's on-campus option (Option B) below.

Lóistín i nGleann Cholm Cille / Accommodation in Gleann Cholm Cille
The following options can be reserved for you by Oideas Gael —
please mark your choice on the application form.

Please note: A number of restaurants in the area offer lunch and evening meals.

BED & BREAKFAST

SELF-CATERING, please choose A or B as your preference.

Lodging with a Gaeltacht family, in specially selected homes.

Cost:

€175 per person, per week,
sharing room

€75 per person on 3-day weekend

€ 50 per person on 2-day weekend

Single supplement:
€5 per night
(limited availability)

A. Sharing a modern house that has all facilities with other course participants on a self-catering basis.

Cost:

€100 per person, per week,
sharing room

€60 per person for 3-day weekend

€40 per person for 2-day weekend

Single supplement:
€5 per night
(limited availability)

B. Self-catering (On-Campus) — Double or twin ensuite rooms. Meal-making facilities in-house.

Cost:

€130 per person, per week,
sharing room

€ 70 per person for 3-day weekend

€ 50 per person for 2-day weekend

Single supplement:
€5 per night
(limited availability)

A limited number of ensuite rooms is available nearby, and may be offered if on-campus rooms are fully reserved

Our campus facility is also available for individuals or groups to use throughout the year by arrangement.

Lóistín sa Choimín, Gleann Fhinne / Accommodation in Gleann Fhinne
The following full-board option is the only one available on our two Gleann Fhinne courses
(26 July–2 August & 2–9 August)

BED & BREAKFAST and EVENING DINNER

Cost: €230 per person, per week, sharing room

Single supplement: €5 per night (limited availability)

Nótaí tabhachtacha / Important Notes:

B&B, and B&B with evening dinner: please inform us of any special dietary requirements.

Self-catering:
please select A or B upon application, in order of preference in case your first selection is fully booked.

Self-Catering is NOT available on the Gleann Fhinne courses.
Family accommodation with full board is the only option in Gleann Fhinne.

Accommodations must be arranged before your arrival at the Oideas Gael centre. Arrangements made for you by Oideas Gael are allocated upon your arrival before the course. If you prefer to make your own arrangements, your may contact one of the providers on the list above and let us know where you will be staying, using the appropriate space on the registration form. Please understand that we must be certain each student has somewhere to stay; your cooperation is appreciated.
